- Because of that, Telemedicine also saves personal protective equipment (PPE) in times of shortages. Indeed when distance provided care becomes possible PPE is not needed saving more equipment for those who really need it.
- All-in-all Telemedicine just delivers care while social distancing, thus minimizing risks for viral transmission.
