Telemedecine for Inflammatory skin diseases

  • There is evidence in the scientific literature showing that through studies in :
    • atopic dermatitis
    • psoriasis
    • acne vulgaris
    • monitoring medications such as titration and detection of side-effects the side effects.
  • Although there is limited literature, the evidence for the above conditions have been studied by doing a randomized control trials where the patients were all:
    • evaluated face to face
    • then a followup was set up randomly to be seen either online or face-to-face.
  • Specific articles will show the evidence
  • Additional comment: Parents would definitely appreciate pediatric teledermatology !
