Successful Regional Implementation of Teledermatology and Teledermoscopy

Spain has a more regional approach and data from the south of Spain, Andalusia, we see a nice hubs and spokes model that has evolved in different regions, feeding back into the main center in Seville.

Numbers of patients dealt with from the Teledermatology Skin Cancer Screening Program has increased year on year. And at the same time, the efficiency of the service has improved such that reports are done quicker and quicker.

Not only is skin cancer screening done with teledermoscopy, but also they have produced pre-surgical teledermatology models, teledermatology for general dermatology, and also for follow-up of existing cases.
