-This model of health care provision is widely accepted by insurers and has been adopted by large numbers of General Practitioners (GPs, Primary care physicians, Family doctors) referring directly to large numbers of dermatologists.
Indeed, this has been so successful that most GPs will get an answer or referral within a few hours, at most. And up to 80% of physical referrals can be prevented by managing them in the community.
